Since you left
Launch plan converged
The team moved to a staged Thursday release after testing the migration path.
- Mina will review the release candidate.
- Devon owns the migration note before launch.
- Whether onboarding ships now is still open.
Your place, held
Run /catchup. Summary Bot starts where you left off and turns the unread conversation into a concise, private summary—with coverage details and links back to the messages that matter.
No configuration or API key. The requester’s Discord access is checked first.

Zero setup
There’s nothing to configure. Summary Bot remembers your catch-up point, reads only what you can read, and returns the shortest useful version of the conversation.
Use it in the channel you need—or choose server scope on Pro and Scale.
Your next catch-up begins after the last one, with controls for time, range, depth, and quality when you want them.
See the covered message count and time span, then jump through source links for the underlying context.
Recast from the same messages
The team chose a staged rollout, moved launch to Thursday, and made Mina the final reviewer. The open decision is whether onboarding belongs in the first release.
Shape, don’t rerun
Turn the same catch-up into decisions, action items, risks, a shorter version, or a topic-focused view. Recast changes the shape without fetching the channel again.

Summary Bot responds with a readable Discord card: a clear title, useful sections, exact coverage, source links, and controls for follow-up. Catch-ups are private by default.

Beyond catch-up
Ask a cited question, keep a thread moving with the mention agent, or let recurring summaries arrive on their own.
/ask answers from the conversation in front of you and links its supporting messages, so the answer is easy to check.
Mention Summary Bot in a thread to reason over the conversation, look up context, and prepare actions. Anything that writes waits for your confirmation.
Schedule private or public recaps. Pro and Scale can summarize across the server, and run rolling live summaries in active channels.
Permission-safe by design
A summarizer should not become a shortcut around Discord permissions. Summary Bot checks first, narrows public recaps to their audience, and keeps message content out of its database.
Summary Bot only reads channels the person asking can already see. Server admins can also block a channel for everyone—including themselves.
Transcripts exist in memory for one request, then they are gone. The database stores settings, entitlements, and usage counts—not messages, questions, prompts, or generated answers.
Opt out of summaries, stop welcome recaps everywhere, or run /privacy forget to remove your profile, settings, presets, opt-outs, schedules, and usage history.
Catch-ups explain what was covered. Answers link back to supporting messages so you can verify an AI-generated result against the conversation itself.
